Water will not drain
Tell us if water stays in the drum, drains slowly or remains after the programme ends. Drainage faults need assessment before deciding whether a blockage, pump or another component is involved.
The drum will not spin
Describe whether the drum stays still throughout the wash or only fails at the final spin. If there is a noise or imbalance as well, include that in your message.
Leaking, shaking or unusual noise
Say where water appears and when the vibration or noise occurs. A description of the cycle stage helps explain the issue without moving or dismantling the machine.
An error code or control problem
Send the exact code or a photo of the display. Explain which control does not respond and whether the problem happens every time. The code is a starting point, not proof that a particular part needs replacing.
Why is my washing machine not draining?
Most drain faults come from a blocked pump filter, a kinked drain hose, a blocked sink or floor drain, or a drain pump that has failed. Switch the machine off and unplug it, check the hose behind it, and clean the filter following your manual with towels down. What should I send if an error code appears?

Can I ask about repair costs before booking?

What do Samsung washing machine codes 4E, 5C, UB and dC mean?
According to Samsung UAE: 4E (also 4C or E1) means water is not being supplied, so check that the taps are fully open and the inlet hose and mesh filter are clear. 5C (5E) means water is not draining, so check the drain hose and clean the debris filter. UB (Ub/UE) means spinning is not working, so spread the laundry evenly and check the machine is level. dC (dE) means the machine is operating with the door open, so close the door fully with no clothes caught; on some models dC can instead mean an unbalanced load. What do LG washing machine codes OE, UE, LE, IE and PE mean?
According to LG UAE: OE is a drainage issue, so check the drain hose and drain filter. UE is an unbalanced load, so redistribute the laundry and level the washer. LE can appear when the motor is stuck, for example a coin caught near the drum. IE means the drum isn't filling to the right level, so check the taps and inlet hoses.
